Hi Clare,
I’ve seen from your page that you now have 6 miles of the London Marathon route to go, congratulations, this is an incredible achievement! Keep up the great work!
We believe our athletes’ success will inspire the nation, challenge perceptions and help create a better world for disabled people. To succeed in doing this,
we want to make the team the very best it can be for Rio 2016 and beyond.
We’re really grateful for your support and it’s a crucial time for ParalympicsGB as preparations are well underway for the British athletes selected to compete
in less than 2 months’ time at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games this September.
This year your fundraising will make a difference to our athletes on the road to Rio and beyond. In 56 days’ time the team will take on the rest of the world
and your fundraising will make the kind of difference that helps make a competitor a champion. You are supercharging ParalympicsGB to ensure our athletes gain those last few vital points, inches or seconds. Check out our Supercharge ParalympicsGB video
here.
We love to celebrate your fantastic fundraising so please do continue to share your #Supercharge story with us on
twitter with
@ParalympicsGB as we countdown to the start of the next Paralympic Games.
All the best for the final stages of your London Marathon challenge and thank you again for your fantastic support.
Best wishes,
Zoe
The Supercharge ParalympicsGB fundraising team
Huge thank you to everyone who has supported me in my Challenge and supported my four charities.
Please please please could I ask everyone who reads this to share my blog or fundraising page on all social media formats, by email and the good old fashioned word of mouth - I'd really like to be able to raise £1000 by the time I reach the finish line.
So Route 7 - as you know Virgin Trains have been amazing in supporting us with travel tickets to London for each route. Businesses are always changing and Virgin Trains policy is now to put all their fundraising to support one charity and so unfortunately they cannot help this time - I am so so grateful for their support - thank you Virgin Trains.
This time my lovely Hubby is taking a day off work so we'll be doing Route 7 on Thursday 28th July. Being a week day the trains are both busy and expensive so we have decided to drive to London. This produced a different sort of issue .... parking!
The end of Route 6 (and therefore the beginning of Route 7) is Majestic Wine Docklands and they have solved the problem.
I am always amazed at everyone's kindness and generosity and thanks to Majestic we now have a parking space for the day.
So where does Route 7 take me, as I said we'll start by Majestic Wine and pass under Aspen Way, along A13 back to Limehouse Tunnel and then along The Highway back to Tower Bridge.

As always I have no idea what we will find, what we will see or more importantly how long it will take. In theory the overall distance on the day should be less as we are only using the tube to get back to Majestic Wine as opposed to getting there too.
As this is the penultimate route, and the final will be a very special day as we are in London for the weekend and our family our walking with us too, it might be that we can enjoy a celebration meal in St Catherine's Dock.
If any of our friends are free on 28th July and would like to join us for our 'stroll' it would be great to have some company along the way - a HUGE thank you to all my supporters, especially my Hubby Nick who will this time be my chauffeur as well as my walking support.
